Pondering

My heart skips a beat.
My lips can't help but smile.
Every time my thoughts go to you,
You drive me wild.

So many times I wondered,
If my dream would come true.
Every time I my thoughts wonder,
My dream comes out to be you.

Sitting by window,
Staring as the world goes by.
Telling myself over and over,
It's not yours to ask why.

Sermon after sermon,
All in God's time.
Don't want to over step my bounds,
I only want what's truly mine.

There I was and there he was,
It all seemed as if by fate.
One thought I pondered,
All I had to do was wait.

Thankful that I did,
For my reward I see.
Thankful to God,
He sent my dream to me.
